Sophia was in destructive baby mode yesterday constantly roaming and looking for something to play with. I took my hip wrap and wrapped it around her middle to keep her occupied. She likes to jingle keys and the like so I figured she'd enjoy the jingling of the coins. Sophia proceeded to walk back and forth in the house just to listen to the noise she was making.

Ethan's Apples
Ethan has taken to drawing fruit. He's imitating an animation sequence from the Mimi & Sam: Melodies of Nature DVD by Baby Ventures (hubby reviewed the DVD here). Ethan draws coconuts, apples, bananas, watermelon, and grapes. His rendition of the apple is the best (meaning most identifiable) because he adds a stem and leaf. The other pictures mostly look like smears of colour on the page. Ethan really likes to practise his new found talent so no sheet of paper is safe. Below are some of Ethan's best apple drawings to date.
Apples 1
Apples 2
As you can see Ethan has two versions of his apples:
Long apple
Round apple
I'm not sure which form came first.
